Overnight at our beautiful, fully equipped base camp in the Chilterns Hills.

Enjoy 2 days' in the countryside taking full advantage of the stunning scenery and off-road routes. You'll be treated to a mix of canal-side paths, sweeping forest sections in Wendover Woods (highest point in the Chilterns) with great views and the spectacular Ashridge Estate. Choice of routes - from the leisurely to the challenging.

Prepare to be amazed by spectacular scenery and the natural beauty.

Relax and reminisce around the campfire with pals.

Savour delicious local produce and soak up the outdoor vibes under the stars.

From our base camp in the Chiltern Hills just a stone's throw from Ivinghoe Beacon we have created a truly chilled out experience for you. As passionate cyclists and adventurers ourselves - our  mission is to take care of you and ensure you have an unforgettable few days. You just have to take care of getting yourself here and we'll take care of the rest. We have deliberately kept things simple whilst paying attention to every last detail.

Included in your experience

We've thoughtfully designed the your experience which takes in some of the most iconic scenery in England. Enjoy camping in our handpicked campsite featuring epic views and sleep in our sumptuous bell tents, fully equipped with all camping and cooking gear (although you'll need to bring your own sleeping bag and pillow, if you're a softie). In the mornings and evenings chow down on some delicious locally sourced food and drink before taking on the trails on your own steed or one of our Sonder adventure bikes.

What's not included

Train fares, parking, lunch and refreshments en-route.

Please bring your own sleeping bag and pillow.

Essentials which you'll need to bring

Your bike:

Essential that it's in perfect working order, safety-checked, serviced and safe to ride the full distance.

You must wear your own quality cycle helmet which conforms to the latest safety standards.

Multi-tool, tyre levers, inner tubes and/or tubeless repair kit, tyre boots,

pump, quick chain links, spare cables, lube, zip ties, bike lock, 

water bottles/hydration pack,

minimum of 1 first aid kit per group,

suitable clothing, footwear, eye wear waterproof gear.

gravel camp itinerary

2 days/1 night

Cycling and outdoor activity is physically demanding.

A good level of fitness is required for the rides. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to complete rides and to ensure you have the necessary skill and capability to do so.

Day 1

9:00 - 9:30am Arrive at Tring station by train (under an hour from London) on Saturday. We transfer you to base camp - the start of your adventure. Alternatively - drive and park at base camp near Ivinghoe.

Fuel up with a fresh coffee on us while you and your fellow riders saddle up and prepare to ride out for a day of glorious off-road riding.

Lunch en route.

Return to base camp to enjoy sundowners, braai (BBQ) and local produce. Spend the evening chilling around the campfire before tucking in for the night in a comfy bell tent.

Day 2

8:00am Breakfast and ride out for your 2nd day around 9 - for another day of joyous exploration.

Return to base camp and celebrate!

We transfer you to Tring station - if you've come by train - so you can make your way home.
