About wild cycles

Wild Cycles founder, John is a passionate, active cyclist. With over 20 years' experience of riding in the beautiful, varied Chilterns Hills - he has worked hard to create very special experiences for those with an appetite for adventure and love for cycling. Having worked in the ad industry, he is now channelling his experience and passion into Wild Cycles - working hard to create and deliver extraordinary experiences and adventures to all-comers.

Jonathan is a graphic designer by trade, specialising in brand identity and photography. He has applied his skills and talent to the his other passion - cycling. It his uncompromising approach to brand integrity, quality and attention to detail which has been instrumental in bringing Wild Cycles to life. Having completed epic rides such as Land's End to John O' Groats, he is on a permanent quest to discover more rides and adventures - and share those with a wider audience and diverse community. He is now working to grow the Wild Cycles brand and to help more people explore beautiful places on bikes. He is qualified as an MIAS Mountain Bike Ride Leader.

Mark brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned cyclist and passionate graveleur to Wild Cycles. As a certified British Cycling Ride Leader Mark has been guiding and leading rides in the SE of England and Spain for over 10 years. He brings a unique blend of creativity and expertise ensuring a fantastic time is had by participants on all Wild Cycles adventures.

Nick got in touch with us last year - as a faithful Wild Cycles follower - asking if we needed any help with our expanding portfolio of events. We were quick to say YES PLEASE! It has been absolutely fabulous having him on board since then. No route recce is too great a challenge even when bush-wacking's involved - no task too much...

Now in his second year of involvement Nick has gone on to gain his MIAS ride-leader's & 1st aid accreditation which means he is also an invaluable member of the ride-leading team at Wild Cycles. And to top it all - he's just a lovely guy to be around.

Not to mention - a high-end fashion sense!

We are super excited to have Beatrice Mrs Heard on board - heading up Wild Cycles' newly-formed catering team. There is no end to her creativity, talent and ability to delight the socks off them hungry bicyclists at the end of a long, hard day out on the trails. Continuously developing and fine-tuning the menu - she is tirelessly committed to inventing and dishing up the most delicious of healthy meals -  ingeniously created from the best hand-picked, wholesome raw ingredients. Beatrice has also an extraordinary talent for producing a range of equally delish vegan, GF and dairy-free menu options.

The Wild Cycles team is growing! We are delighted to welcome South African local, Vincent, to the team for the upcoming season. His passion for riding ridiculous amounts of miles knows no limits. Not only did he complete a Johannesburg to Cape Town trans South African epic over 2500km earlier this year, he decided to stop over on the coast to participate in a 500km gravel epic known as the Sedgefield500. You’ll be captivated by his stories of survival and human kindness.
