The South Downs Way is recognized as one of the UK's most desirable off-road routes. Breath-taking and stunning views across both land and sea are outstanding features of the surprisingly vast and unspoilt natural wilderness.
Starting at the fab South Downs Social Cafe, Winchester - the 100 mile route traverses the spectacular South Downs Way National Park - over 2 days. Overnight camp or bothy mid way (ish).
Almost entirely off-road - immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the extraordinary and undulating coastal landscape including the spectacular white chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. Finishing in Eastbourne.

This classic 4-day, 400km route circumnavigates King Alfred The Great's Anglo-Saxon Kingdom. Incorporating the ever-changing landscapes and scenery of Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, some of the world's most spectacular prehistoric monuments. Start and finish in Winchester.
Now in its 5th year KING ALFRED'S WAY is still one of the all-time multi-day faves.
