Ashridge estate

week 4: 1-5 DECEMBER 2021

Starting near the picturesque village of Aldbury, you’ll swing by the spectacular Ivinghoe Beacon at the tip of the Ridgeway - providing 360 degree views across Aylesbury Vale. National Trust’s Ashridge 5,000 acre estate with its ancient trees, rolling chalk and lush meadows supports a rich variety of wildlife including fallow deer and unforgettable bluebell carpets in spring. With a perfect blend of endless sweeping forest trails - you'll be treated to some of the Chilterns’ best off-road biking. Optional lunch at the Musette Cafe.

the grand union

week 5: 8-12 DECEMBER 2021

This adventure has all the ingredients guaranteed to put a smile on your face. You’ll swing onto country lanes, cut through forest trails and across the valley. Drop down to the picturesque Grand Union Canal to pick up the towpath and sweep through the Marsden Reservoirs bird sanctuary and onto some of the most sublime gravel the Chilterns has to offer. Never more than 30 miles from London you'll be amazed by what you'll see and discover on your doorstep. Optional lunch at the Musette Cafe.

wenduro woods

week 6: 15-19 DECEMBER 2021

This is a perfect introduction to off-road cycling and a gravel ride taster. Prepare to be amazed by spectacular views from the highest point in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the breath-taking gravel tracks that sweep through the Forestry Commission site. The ride packs in a blend of sweeping gravel tracks, windy forest trails and the neighbouring Tring Park with its oak-lined lanes. Warm up back at the park cafe with a hot chocolate and lunch.

Surrey Safari

28th november

Join us for our inaugural Wild Cycles social gravel ride this month!


We'll be heading off on the 28th and riding a 50km loop, starting and finishing on the Tamsin Trail. After the scenic pastures of Richmond Park, well be out past Ham House following the Thames towpath to Kingston. Next, we follow the pretty Hogsmill River one of the tributaries of the Thames. This takes us out to Horton country park and Ashted common where we will refuel at the Kt9 barn. The return loop takes us across to the prince's consort and then on to Esher common. Following the trails through Claygate and onto Hampton Court where we pick up a trail through the beautiful bushy park
