South Downs Sundowner Spin with Mason and tailfin

Join us for a social gravel ride on the South Downs Saturday 23 Sept.

Meet at Mason Cycles' iconic barn at 4:30 & ride out at 5pm for a super-chilled social sun-downer - followed by a refreshing and craftily brewed stohk...

Between 9 am and 4 pm, you'll also have the opportunity to sample and test ride the incredible and beautifully crafted Mason Cycles' range.

We'll then head out into the hills and vales with friends around 5 pm in the stunning Sussex surroundings, incorporating a section of the drop-dead gorgeous South Downs Way National Trail - with views from on high down to the sea. Thanks Komoot for more #adventureswithpurpose.

Includes access to Mason demo bikes, a suggested route, and chilled stohk brews at the end back at the Mason Barn.


The ride pace will be a sociable one of about 30 - 40km. You will be tempted to stop en-route to admire the stunning South Downs scenery!

Route

This is a social, self-guided 30-40km ride. Route to be circulated w/c 18th.


You are responsible for yourself, your safety and your decisions during the ride.


Terrain and surface is varied and will be impacted by the weather - check the weather forecast!

  • Expect some tarmac, busy road crossings, dusty gravel tracks, uneven, loose and slippery surfaces as well as mud in places - especially on single tracks in the woods.

  • Narrow lanes with blind corners as well as multiple road crossings are to be approached with extreme caution.

  • Make sure you've plenty of rubber and clearance.

  • Check out the conditions, features and route profile which include some very steep gradients.

Adapt the route to suit your ability and your preferences.
