Just when we thought it couldn't get any better...Wild Wales '25 just happended.
Just over two weeks ago we had a super chilled bunch of adventure-lovers soaking up basecamp vibes at Willow Springs, riding the spectacular forest trails, enjoying delicious wholesome meals and brews together.
As we say - this unique weekend experience is way more than riding bikes. Although it is of course centred around our shared love of riding - in beautiful places - the most outstanding feature of the now legendary festival is the people who come and make it special.
Wild Wales continues to draw an incredible community - who come to discover, explore, meet other like-minded folk, reconnect, make new connections, share stories, bike parts, advice on tyre-choice, routes and are after a generally good time in a stunning wild setting.
Reflecting on an incredible weekend in the mountains there is no image that sums up the whole shebang up as well as this...

Now the dust has settled - the weekend has been beautifully summed up by regular Clive - including a promise to come back next year for a third whirl.
We coud'nt have said it better...
My first ever Wild Wales event was in 2024 and I thought that it was brilliant. I returned in 2025 and, if anything, it was even better! I can only marvel at the sheer amount of pre-planning and advance recce'ing...(in advance of Wild Wales). The three different routes had something for all abilities. I chose to stick with the 50km route ... it was great to be part of the small group that completed this route together. As ever, the camaraderie was top notch, with lots of mutual encouragement. Beyond the wonderful routes and spectacular scenery, the evening around the campfire chatting to new friends was a complete joy. It was wonderful to be in the company of like-minded people who all share a love of the outdoors, cycling and camping. The food was sensational and delivered exactly the right balance of ingredients to restore energy levels and repair tired muscles. Sunday's ride was fantastic. The highlight was the gathering at the pub in Cymmer, where we got to chill, drink beer and natter away in a spirit of collaborative shared experience. The final easy-ish run back to Willow Springs was the perfect way to end the adventure. I'll definitely be back in 2026. I would like to say thank you to everyone involved for making this happen. ...The weather was fantastic, and this meant that we were able to enjoy the whole event without having to worry about waterproofs. Again - many, many thanks to all. See you next year!

If you haven't already - we'd be super grateful if you could
They came, they rode - and they loved it!

Wild Wales is - crucially - about community, delicious home-crafted food, campfire vibes, post-ride banter and trail-quenching stohk brews. Which is the inspiration for this wholesome experience - and many more to come.
All Wild Cycles' experiences - each and every detail is designed with you - the adventurer in mind.
Our aim is to make exceptional experiences accessible to more people and a wider, diverse audience and Wild Cycles' signature approach is all about impact, the finer details and experiences set in beautiful places that make for unforgettable adventures and special moments.
So it was especially gratifying to see seasoned gravelistas as well as those who'd never set tyre on the rough stuff before - all enjoying themselves.
This year there were 4 routes to choose from; a 35km, 50km, 70km and 100km - designed and tested to include the perfect blend of smooth, sweeping gravel and just enough edginess on single tracky, techy stuff - blended to get the fun type-2 flowing...
Part of the magic of Wild Wales is to slow things down just a bit and we were over the moon to see the response to new feature that has become part of the weekend experience.
We gave everyone a sketch book and asked folk to take a moment to pause and soak up their surroundings - and write down a thought, sketch a something,,,
We were amazed to see how the response which included sketches and written observations discovered en-route.

Prizes for the most thoughtfull....
