An epic Self-Guided british off-road adventure
A two night self-guided bikepacking adventure that follows Britain's oldest road for 92 miles. This is a challenging ride requiring a good fitness and capability level.
You'll cover 60 miles on your first day and 32 miles on your second day.
The Ridgeway, Britain's oldest road and is packed full of some of Europe's oldest and most spectacular Neolithic sites including Stone Circles, Long Barrows, Hill Forts and Chalk Figures - check out ou journal for details.
Prepare to be amazed by unforgettable scenery, enjoy some well deserved cold beverages with pals and tuck into delicious locally sourced food after a long day's ride.
Overnight in a bell tent and savour the outdoor atmosphere around an open fire under the stars. Accommodation in 2, 3 & 4-person bell tents.

You just have to take care of getting yourself here and we'll take care of the rest. We have deliberately kept things simple whilst paying attention to every last detail. There's nothing better!
Included in your experience
The Wild Ridgeway Adventure is a self-guided tour.

Ride briefings at the beginning of each day and campsite welcome at the end of each stage. GPX routes for each day are provided in advance and we'll walk you through each days riding.

We support and transfer of all the gear you aren't carrying with you on your ride and ensure it gets to your overnight camp before you!

We support you during your ride and are always on hand.

Your pitch is ready for when you arrive after a day’s ride - complete with bell tents, cooking gear, bike maintenance kit, tables, chairs under cover of our iconic boma. To complete the set-up - your very own open fire where you can chill and recount that day's highlights.

For your 2 evenings - we’ll be sourcing some truly special local meals with Vegetarian and Vegan options available (all dietary preferences catered for). Includes snacks, main & salad as well as a selection of brews and non-alcoholic drinks.

Breakfast on 2 mornings is a delicious locally sourced granola, pastries, fruit, fresh coffee and tea. Snacks & fruit for the road included.

Cycling and outdoor activity is physically demanding.
A good level of fitness is required for the rides. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to complete rides and to ensure you have the necessary skill and capability to do so.
Day 1
Arrival

Arrive at Pewsey train station by train (under an hour from London) on Friday evening. We transfer you to base campsite near the start of the trail.

Enjoy an evening BBQ and local beverages around the camp fire and spend the night under the stars. Fresh, ready and definitely not hungover for the start of your adventure.
Day 2
The Ridgeway - 60 Miles Riding

Morning route briefing and breakfast.

Pass a jaw-dropping selection of historic sites, from Iron Age Hill Forts to Tombs and Neolithic monuments like the eerie Wayland's Smithy. Take in the famous and fabulous Uffington White Horse and Uffington Castle before dropping down into the village of Goring-On-Thames where you'll navigate a short detour to your second campsite.

Arrive at your second campsite at Watlington and enjoy a cold bevy an dinner at fab local pub (included). Enjoy the evening before tucking in for the night.
Day 3
The Ridgeway - 30 Miles Riding

Breakfast and ride out for your second day.

Mid-way'ish coffee & refreshment stop at the lovely Buckmoorend Farm.

Arrive at Ivinghoe Beacon trail end and celebrate!

Roll down to Tring station so you can make your way home.
