Happy New Year! Calling all Wild Adventurers

Wild Cycles' mission is to bring wild and exceptional outdoor experiences to a wider and diverse audience. Our signature approach is focused on impact, the finer details and experiences set in beautiful places that make for unforgettable adventures and special moments.


Seasoned bike-riders, newcomers to off-road riding, adventurous, fun type 2ers and anyone keen to have a go - our 2024 menu has something for you.


Wild Cycles' rides and events are designed with your maximum enjoyment in mind. We wholeheartedly believe that the bike is the best way to discover the beauty of our natural surroundings and key to riding-in-beautiful-places. We also believe in the magic which happens off the bike: around the dinner table enjoying delicious food and brews, chilling by the campfire, chatting and sharing with a super-friendly and welcoming community.

Here's what to look forward to in 2024

multi-day events & tours


Now in it's 3rd year this is the legendary Wild Wales Gravel Festival. If you are looking for a  super-chilled, welcoming and wholesome weekend escape with a number of route options in a stunning mountain setting - check this out. Basecamp nr. Afan forest is quite special, complete with its very own waterfall, wood-fired sauna and plunge pool - a spectacular setting for a truly unforgettable adventure. Expect spectacular routes, great company and chilled festival vibes at basecamp.



Join the gang for an all out community-focused mid-summer ride 'n celebration - based out of the stunning riverside Mellow Farm. Tucked away deep in the Surrey countryside - basecamp easy to reach from nearby Farnham. Sublime forest trails, bridleways and tree-lined lanes winding through the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Ride up the side of the stunning Devil's Punchbowl and check out the view from Gibbet's Hill at the top. Discover sections of the legendary King Alfred's Way and the other-worldly heathery pink landscape of Frensham Common. Join in Sunday's group social ride to the nearby Ponds - for a dip if that takes your fancy.



The 4-day circular route covering 220 miles through King Alfred The Great's Anglo-Saxon Kingdom is still one of the UK's must-do rides. Crammed with spectacular and ever-changing landscapes, some of the world's most important prehistoric monuments - start and finish in Winchester where the King is buried. Your tour features the spectacular Wiltshire, Wessex and Surrey countryside as well as the South Downs' Way and England’s oldest Roman road, The Ridgeway. 




Another uniquely Wild Adventure featuring 2 days' riding in beautiful places on London's doorstep. Delivered through partners Much Better Adventures - discover the joy of off-road riding on hand-picked routes through the stunning Chiltern Hills including the Ridgeway, Britain’s oldest road, as you get expert guidance on key gravel riding skills and techniques. 

While yer at it - soak up the landscapes and country vibes - canal-side paths, sweeping forest trails, stunning scenery. Base camp is a beaut of a site - hand-picked by the Team - nestled under the Ridgeway 5-star facilities. Enjoy the après-ride glow around the campfire with a bunch of like-minded souls, savour delicious, wholesome home-cooked meals and craft brews.

Mostly running in the winter months - our chilled group rides are geared to all abilities - the emphasis on community - bringing people together for a chat, ride. A great way to share ideas, connect with friends and make some new ones!

lee valley & epping forest winter cooler

Starting and finishing in London's Victoria Park at the fabulous Pavilion Café -

you'll be amazed at how quickly you leave the cityscapes behind you and enter another world of wild n beautiful open spaces in London's backyard. Roll out of town along the picturesque Lee Valley canal system and cruise past Hackney Marshes and the Walthamstow Wetland Sanctuary. Ramp up into Epping Forest for a blast along a selection of  sublime sweeping gravel tracks - surprising, amazing and exhilarating - returning via the iconic Olympic Park - a  visual treat in its own right - before rolling back into Vic Park for coffee, cake and/or lunch at the Pav Caff.

​Taking in some of the South Downs National Park's most sublime trails - this c. 50km route is designed to delight and put a smile on your face.

Ramping up to the South Downs and on to the iconic Chanctonbury Ring with its sublime views - we then roll on and spin past another gorgeous high highlight at Cissbury Ring. Just a few highlights on this delightful tour of some of the best parts of the South Downs - some of the most spectacular, varied and punchy off-roading in the land.
